Mike has developed numerous communities along the front range throughout his 36-year community development and building career including Briargate, the Briargate Business Campus, the Broadmoor Resort Community, the Lowell Neighborhood, Shiloh Mesa, the Spring Creek Community, and Banning Lewis Ranch, to name a few. Mike’s engineering, development and construction background and experience include all phases of project development, from acquisition and entitlement through completion of both vertical and horizontal product, including metro district operations.

Mike’s involvement in community service is deep and extensive. He is the current President of the Colorado Springs Housing and Building Association (HBA), former President of HBA Cares, past board member of the Colorado Springs Initiative to end Homelessness Trustee Board, past Chairman of Colorado Springs Continuum of Care Governing Board, Partnership for Community Design, and several other city and community boards and commissions. In 2014, the Home Builder Association honored Mike as the Builder/Developer of the Year.

Mike a fourth generation Coloradoan, graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. He is a member of the National Association of Home Builders and the Colorado Springs Housing & Building Association. Mike is an avid  hiker and boater. Mike and his wife Chris have three grown daughters.
